Credentialing Readiness Checklist
A preview of the free PDF- Group (Type 2) NPI with taxonomy 103K00000X
- Individual NPI for every BCBA
- CAQH profile 100% complete and attested
- Liability insurance certificates on file
- Medicaid / MCO enrollment started
- Commercial payer panels confirmed open
Opening the practice is the easy part. Getting paid is the hard part.
Every payer has its own application. CAQH has to be complete and re-attested. One missing document can send an application back to the start, and the payer's clock only starts once the file is complete.
Typical commercial payer processing per application once it is complete. We can't speed up the payer. We can stop avoidable delays.
You send your documents once, to one secure folder. We build CAQH and every application from it.
A status email and a shared tracker for every application, until each payer makes a decision.
The Credentialing Readiness Checklist
A one-page-per-stage checklist of everything payers ask for: entity and IDs, documents, CAQH, Medicaid, commercial payers, contracting and the systems you need before your first claim. Built from real ABA payer enrollment work.

FAQ
Can you guarantee I'll get on a panel?
No. Payers decide, and some panels close to new providers. We handle preparation, submission and follow-through, and we tell you early if a panel looks closed.
How long does credentialing take?
Commercial payers often take 60–120 days per application once it's complete. Medicaid timelines vary by state. We can't speed up the payer, but we can stop avoidable delays.
I just got my group NPI. Is it too early?
No, it's the right time. CAQH and payer applications can usually start as soon as your entity, NPIs, license (where required) and liability insurance are in place. The free checklist shows the order.
Which states do you work in?
Most U.S. states. Tell us your state on the free call and we'll confirm.
Do you do billing?
Not yet. We focus on credentialing and launch operations.
Is this legal or clinical advice?
No. Templates and checklists flag the sections your attorney, accountant or BCBA should review for your state.
Are you affiliated with the BACB?
No. ReadyABA isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
